Reporting to the Global Head of Content, you'll lead Red Bull Media Network's content development across digital channels and traditional broadcast. You will bring world-class standards of storytelling and format creation to reach and engage broad audiences - and meet the needs of the brand.
While leading the creation of distinctive formats and content, you'll focus on serving the strategic needs of Red Bull Media Network across owned, managed, and 3rd party channels. This entails the creation of formats for production in multiple territories in short-, mid-, and long-form, with an emphasis on factual/entertainment - commissioning development work from production partners and IP creators as well as leading the in-house team.
You'll oversee the creation and execution of pilot episodes and subsequent first series for international roll out across Red Bull territories. You will also pitch developed ideas to third party broadcasters and publishers for co-production.
You'll drive original and distinctive content development by capitalising on audience consumption behaviours to create new kinds of entertainment - and innovation through emerging platforms and immersive technology.
You'll be an inspirational, motivating, and trend-setting team leader for Red Bull Media Network's development needs. You'll develop and support national producers to create content with a credible voice and authentic tone to reach and engage broad audiences. You'll lead satellite teams in the UK and USA to capitalize on IP creation and production communities in those markets.
You'll establish and implement best practice development standards across the variety of broadcast and social channels to fit a range of budget levels, and commercial needs.
You'll work closely with specialist audience teams and analytics, to create development briefings that fit the key strategic demands of Red Bull Media Network.
10+ years of television experience in Content Development/production environment with proven track record in page to screen development
Experience as Sr. Executive Producer or above (e.g. Head of Development/Production) required
Highly creative thinker with experience in creating, selling, and piloting distinctive formats for international exploitation across broadcast/digital platforms
Hands-on leadership-experience managing teams in past positions
Knowledge of the international content landscape
Natural ability to prioritise and deliver multiple development workstreams simultaneously
Strong stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to communicate development strategy efficiently and effectively
Collaborative team player with a good sense of humour

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.045 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
