In this role you'll be managing the relationships with key stakeholders, such as sports marketing or Red Bull countries to help drive the organization and coordination of the projects.
You'll balance the role as a strategist for the overall messaging and ESO activation with personal ownership and execution of earned media amplification. You'll set up and manage a team of seasoned experts to leverage international driven projects like Red Bull Crashed Ice, Red Bull Cliff Diving, Wings for Life World Run, etc..
Accurately maintaining project budgets and forecast in business planning process, being in charge of reporting, updates and project documentation and it's communication will be part of your role as well.
Inspiring and engaging countries to activate international driven project with joint forces, developing and providing a year-round communications strategy, key messaging and actionable communications milestone plan is another aspect of this role.
You'll train and guide countries on the project key messaging and a one-voice strategy following the communications strategy and key milestones. Moreover, you'll support countries to define audience relevant media partners and influencers. Furthermore, you'll provide comprehensive briefing material and actionable tools to enable the country communication manager to hit the target audiences according to the set strategy and timeline and share best practices with countries.
Last but not least, you'll h olistically take care of the communications tasks and actions of the campaign before, during and after milestones. Leading the content production and team for earned print, social, radio, web and broadcast news outlets and creating syndication papers for web and broadcast partners in alignment with distribution is another aspect of your role.
You'll set up and lead the global press office and news distribution team in multiple languages, design and run the project Media Newsroom if needed and function as on-site Crisis Communications Lead in alignment with HQ.
Moreover, you'll manage the event operations and on site management of the Communications team and take charge of set and safeguard standards throughout the whole activation period.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in Communications, PR, Marketing or in a media led company
A seasoned, international communication professional with a proven track record in leading an international, cross-functional team of experts
Understanding of moving images and still images productions as well as web, social and digital activation
A passion and an extensive media network in the field of Sports, Lifestyle, News and beyond
Event expertise, on-site event communications and media handling
Excellent leadership qualities and presentation skills
A strong understanding of the global media landscape across all media verticals
Well organized, stress-resistant and able to handle difficult situations under pressure
An enthusiastic, open minded, diligent, smart, hardworking, flexible strategic generalist and hands-on executer
A team player that knows how to inspire people, but also sets clear targets and deliverables

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1773 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
