To accomplish our high-reaching goals in Project Portfolio Management you will act with real passion for agile project management and business applications, to play a key role in driving the implementation and delivery of this approach to the Red Bull Media House.
You are known as somebody who always maintains the overview? You'll assist in our project portfolio roadmap execution by collaborating with project managers on project dependencies, scope, resourcing and budgets. You'll maintain oversight of inter-divisional projects and ensure that assignments and milestones are properly planned, staffed, and monitored by working with the owners of individual project timelines. Additionally, you'll coordinate the prioritization of projects and initiatives within the project portfolio in conjunction with project managers of respective departments and the general management.
In this role, you'll identify project portfolio related constraints, issues in terms of dependencies, progress or risk. Moreover, you'll support proper escalation to the general management if needed.
You'll collaborate with project managers and business owners to create and maintain a delivery roadmap, that includes priorities and business benefits. In this role, you'll challenge project managers on quantitative key performance indicators and quality in planning, execution of their projects as well as on governance aspects.
Effective and appropriate communication is the key to successful stakeholder management. You'll communicate roadmaps, changes and project portfolio status to the executive board and internal teams. Furthermore, you'll establish project calendars and monitor adherence to schedule. Overall, you'll ensure the alignment of business, departments and project portfolio management through regular meetings with the executive, project managers and delivery teams.
3+ years' experience as a project manager, preferably in cross-functional projects
Experience in a PMO or complex project management environment with a technical focus, preferably in an agile set-up
Flexibility and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)
Strong organizational planning skills and understanding of project management concepts
Effective problem-solving skills with an ability to identify and resolve issues, or identify the assisting internal resources
Experience within the media business is beneficial
Good understanding of financial figures

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1,595 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
