International Social Innovation Communication Manager


The International Social Innovation Communications Manager is accountable for defining and realizing the Social Innovation communications strategy across Red Bull Amaphiko, Red Bull Basement and related Social Innovation verticals. What does Social Innovation mean at Red Bull? We foster/catalyze social impact on the ground by championing social entrepreneurs invested in creating impact for their local community through our Red Bull Amaphiko Program. Additionally we are engaging hackers, coders and thinkers who use technology to improve their world around them through our Red Bull Basement/University Program. We inspire broad audiences by telling stories about the change agents that are positively contributing to their community. We are looking for an experienced addition to our team for the duration of 6 months.

As International Social Innovation Communications Manager, you´ll coordinate and manage communication of global/international Social Innovation projects such as Red Bull Amaphiko & Red Bull Basement. You´ll ensure that we are transmitting our key messages globally through all of our content and event communication. You´ll guide the editorial strategy, ensure quality of social innovation content with production teams and ensure we have an always-on conversation with both loyal and new audiences. You´ll coordinate internal and external contacts in relation to international communication and distribution.

  • Country Guidance & Support

In this role, you´ll host workshops for markets to enhance their overall Social Innovation communication strategy. In addition, you´ll provide National Communication Managers with the overall communication strategy and support the country adaptions. You´ll guide, enable and mentor National Communication Managers on strategy, content creation and distribution/marketing and act as a consultant on international relevant projects.

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Communications, PR, Media Production, Marketing
  • Expert knowledge of Social Entrepreneurship, Social Impact and/or Social Innovation Industry
  • Well established Industry and Community Media Relations
  • Proven leadership qualities and presentation skills
  • High empathy with the capability to work with people from all cultural and social backgrounds
  • Structured and well-organized
  • Strong knowledge of MS office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Team worker
  • Culture enthusiastic
  • University degree in Communication or Marketing
  • Excellent English, additional languages a plus

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1805 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
