We are currently looking for a Social Media Channel Manager to join or Social Media Team in our Digital Media Department, based in our headquarters in Salzburg, Austria.

Areas that play to your strengths

  • Oversee the global Social Media presence for all Sport focused verticals

In this exciting position, you will work on cross-platform release strategies and build a clean content workflow between our entire organization and the Sports channels. You will define an audience reach strategy to align with our company goals. Your goal is to engage users by using new platform technologies.

  • Manage Channel Management Resources

You will oversee a small team of sport specific channel managers and make sure that all resources have the latest tools and are proficient in using them. Also you will align with resources on daily release schedules of sport campaigns.

  • Develop Global Strategy

You have the opportunity to define a Global Strategy across Red Bull Sports Properties and work with our 160+ markets in defining publishing flow and tonality.

  • Real-Time Social Content Production

You will ensure that our channels have weekly real-time content. Additionally you are asked to deliver user-focused Facebook Live experiences regularly.

  • Analytical decision making

You will work closely with our analytics team to ensure that we are optimizing our reach potential. Also you will ensure that all video is optimized for each particular platform

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in big brand Social Media
  • Profound knowledge of social media platforms
  • Video production experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of Digital Products and video consumption patterns
  • Deep knowledge of Action Sports
  • High-level written English with familiarity with internet "memes" and "language"
  • Resilient, passionate, structured and well-organized person
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Marketing studies or similar
  • Excellent English and additional languages a plus

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1805 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
