Technical Account Manager - Global Accounts

OVERVIEW

The holder of this position will manage the technical relationship with Global Accounts merchants, covering the full cycle from pre-sale, implementation of Issuing Solutions integration projects (integration of Tax Free Shopping (TFS) functionalities into merchant POS systems), solutions roll-out coordination and service delivery management.

Responsibilities

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Technical pre-sales for Global Accounts
  • Interface with internal and external project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of TFS services
  • Deliver Issuing Solutions in compliance with the processes of Global Blue Partner Integration
  • Ensure that the implemented Issuing Solutions are anchored correctly in the GB organization
  • Point of escalation in case of Global Accounts technical related issues
  • Monitoring on BAU tasks for Global Accounts
  • Regular review meetings with IT managers of Global Accounts

REQUIREMENTS

Background and Education

  • University graduate
  • 2+ years of experience in managing multinational projects with external stakeholders
  • IT educational background
  • Experience in working with virtual and distributed teams
  • Customer consulting services
  • Independent and self-motivating personality
  • English and German language - fluent is a must and additional languages preferred
  • Working knowledge within the POS retail or credit card industry preferred

Specific skills and knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of Point-of-sale related technology and transactional systems
  • Ability to communicate with external partners in an efficient and structured way
  • Experience with EFT payment standards, PCI, EMV within the retail or credit card industry preferred
  • Accuracy, ability to analyse situations fast and to identify the correct measures
  • Customer oriented approach
  • Willingness to enter in technical details
  • Structured and flexible at the same time in managing difficult and challenging situations
  • Commitment and dedication to work
  • Perseverance in reaching goals
  • Knowledge of project management processes and tools
  • Excellent communication and team skills, ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
  • Excellent organizational, decision making and problem solving skills

Global Blue offers attractive, competitive and performance related compensation packages for all offered position, the individual package of fixed and variable parts are offered to the respective candidate on an individual level. Due to the legal regulation of federal Austrian law, Global Blue is obliged to state a mandatory minimum for this a position of 33.316,78 EUR.
