Job description
In your new role you will:

  • Be responsible for product marketing/management of SiC and IGBT bare die products
  • Be actively involved in the complete product life cycle; from product idea through to product discontinuation
  • Collect market & customer information
  • Monitor and act on key performance indicators, as well as reporting to management
  • Provide inputs for capacity and financial planning
  • Be part of a strong global interdisciplinary expert team consisting of application engineering, product development, production engineering, quality, finance, sales and regional marketing.

Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • An Engineering degree
  • 3+ years of experience in product-marketing/-management
    or project management within the power electronics industry
  • Experience in working within cross-functional and international teams
  • Fluent English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good communication / presentation skills
  • Target orientation

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2017). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.

The Industrial Power Control segment (IPC) designs, develops, manufactures and markets semiconductors and system solutions primarily for the use in industrial electronic applications. IPC offers semiconductor products for various power transmission stages, i.e. from the generation via the transmission, and finally the conversion of electric power. IPC's product portfolio comprises discrete IGBT devices, IGBT modules and IGBT stacks, as well as IGBT driver ICs and driver boards for controlling IGBT modules and covers practically the entire power range from a few hundred watts to several megawatts. IPC's target applications include industrial drives (motors, pumps, fans, compressors), home appliances, renewable energy generation, and traction.
