As NFC RF System Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Leading RF related NFC system verification activities for all NFC operating modes (peer to peer, reader/writer, card emulation) according NFC Forum specifications and ISO/IEC standards (14443-A, B, 18092, 15693), Felica, MIFARE and EMVCo. specification
  • optimization of the RF performance of our contactless products with respect to existing standards and product requirements
  • actively driving the SW tools development for RF measurement systems
  • technical management and execution of test campaigns
  • optimization of our products to meet NFC interoperability
  • providing technical inputs for application notes, key customer support and design-in activities

As candidate for this role you:

  • have solid understanding of RF communication systems
  • have 3 or more years of experience
  • provide Technical University, FH
  • have software skills: MatLab, C/C++
  • might have software skills: Spice, Python
  • might know: transmitter / receiver architectures
  • might have knowledge in modulation techniques and coding
  • are well organized and accurate working style
  • have good documentation skills
  • have excellent command of written and spoken English

NXP offers competitive compensation. Due to Austrian law we are obliged to state the minimum gross salary according to legal regulations and for this role this amounts to EUR 43.000 gross. Depending on experience and education higher remuneration is possible.
