What's the role?
As Team Lead Development & Testing you will have the functional lead for the product design and the testing group in our Division Installation Systems in Lanzenkirchen.

What does the role involve?
In your new role you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all design and testing relevant tasks. For this you will be working close together with our Headquarter in Schaan (Liechtenstein) in maintaining and developing competence in design and testing and developing tools, methods and processes for effective international cooperation. One of your main tasks will be people management. You will also be responsible for controlling the group relevant cost center.

Our site Lanzenkirchen, based in the south of Vienna is Hilti´s Competence Center for Ventilated Façade and Installation Systems for Pipe rings and Heavy modular systems. As part of our Business Unit Installation we provide product development, supply, marketing and engineering. What you need is:

  • A technical Master degree, or PhD mechanical engineering or construction engineering
  • Fluent English skills (required), German skills (desired), additional languages (beneficial)
  • Broad experience in product design and technology (>5 years)
  • Experience in testing (methods, statistics, measuring, quality)
  • Broad experience in technical project management (>3 years)
  • Experience in leading & coaching teams (>3 years)
  • Excellent communication & networking skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade, employment group 5. We offer a performance-oriented remuneration package including a range of social benefits.
