Whoop! - an automated bid management solution for Google Shopping - is our newest software solution. Engineered specifically to save resources and boost the performance of online shops around the world, Whoop! automatically generates a highly efficient campaign structure and applies our algorithm to achieve intelligent, product-specific bid management.

Sales Manager International (Linz, full-time, f/m)

... be our face to the customer across diverse communication channels!

This role is essential for the exploration and development of international target markets for our new software product Whoop!. Our focus is on the DACH region, US, UK, Scandinavia and Brazil.

You will be the first contact for our customers, arranging meetings and visiting trade fairs to promote Whoop! as well as our text ad solution, AdEngine. You will give product presentations and support customers and agencies during the onboarding process. You will strive to promote smec and its products in our target countries and must push hard to live up to our ambitious growth objectives.

Your Tasks

  • Get in touch with customers and agencies via phone calls and build up a network in your target country.
  • International Business Development: Research potential leads/partners/influencers as well as relevant trade fairs and Ecommerce trade shows.
  • Product presentations via video call, on-site with customers or at trade shows.
  • Creation of sales materials in your native language
  • Marketing support (website, blog, social media) together with our content team.
  • Maintenance of lead and customer data in our CRM System.

Your Profile

  • You are a native speaker of one of the following languages: English, French, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Portuguese
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Experience in cold-calling and lead qualification.
  • High interest in online marketing and Ecommerce
  • A self-starter and ready to take on responsibility
  • You are also fluent English, since this is important for the onboarding process.

The Austrian IT collective bargaining agreement comes into play here. The minimum salary for this position is stipulated at EUR2,600 for full-time employment. We are willing to pay more depending on experience and after the onboarding phase is completed successfully.
