The department Continuous Casting Sales Flat is searching for a Sales Manager for Fluid Systems - Continuous Casting Technology.

What are my responsibilities?

• Acquisitioning, tender processing, elaboration of technical specifications, costing, pricing
• Participating in product and bid presentations for Fluid Systems of Continuous Casting Plants
• Technical contract preparation and negotiations
• Bid processing
• Cooperation with MT technical and specialized departments involved in sales process
• Participating in development of tailor-made solutions for fluid systems in line with the market requirements
• Participating in standardization and cost optimization
  

Which qualifications do I need?

• Preferably higher technical institute or university degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics or chemical engineering)
• Several years of experience in metallurgical plant engineering
• Basic knowledge in designing of utility systems, cooling water systems and hydraulic systems of Continuous Casting Plants
• Experience in the acquisition and/or development of projects is advantageous
• Understanding of commercial issues
• Knowledge of contract writing
• English – fluent in written and spoken
• Computer literacy: MS Office package

What else do I have to know?
The cross annual compensation in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for this function is at least EUR 30.200, for academic graduates it is at least EUR 40.000. Education and experience can lead to overpay. In addition Siemens provides social and other benefits.
