Sales Manager (f/m)

CMT is a division of Siemens AG Austria and acts as a top software solution and service provider regarding the areas communications, media and technology. To strengthen our sales team we are looking for a Sales Manager (f/m) to push sales of applied communication solutions for strategic industries in vertical markets: energy, transport, security, etc.

What will be my responsibilities?
  
- Identify demands on communication technologies and media products and solutions within the vertical markets (mainly industry, energy transport)
- Build up and maintain intensive customer contact to the relevant decision makers with main actors and decision makers
- Position CMT as preferred partner for the identified needs
- Business development actions to identify and prequalify opportunities
- Generate leads and business cases and coordinate proposals together with the representatives of CMT Business Units
- Support regional units sales representatives
- Deliver market and customer knowledge into the CMT sales strategy and portfolio development

What qualifications do I need?
   
Education:

- University degree ( University, University of Applied Sciences )
- Engineer school

Knowledge and Languages:

- Excellent communications skills in addressing management levels
- Have a proven sales approach and methodologies
- Knowledge about telecommunications and vertical markets industry, energy, transport, security, etc.)
- English fluently and German,
- Multi-cultural know-how

Experience:

- Min. of 3 to 10 years experience in sales of telecommunication and IT solutions
- Min. of 2 to 3 years experience in marketing, business development or sales in vertical markets
- Proven sales success stories

Capabilities:

- Ready for frequent travels world-wide ( 20-30%)
- High customer orientation
- High communication skills (public presentation)
- Business focused and pragmatism
- Flexibility and team player

What should I know in addition?  

              
The gross annual payment for this job vacancy is at least EUR 50.000,00 depending on education and experience. An overpayment is possible depending on the performances. Siemens as an international company offers additional social benefits. Place of employment will be most probably Austria or Europe.
