The specialist department MT EA SMI - Electrics / Automation for Steel Plants & Mini Mills / Ironmaking / Long-Rolling is searching for a Technical Sales Manager (f/m) for Autonomous and Integrated EA Projects.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Acquisitioning, tender processing, pricing
  • Development of sales strategies
  • Conducting product and bid presentations for projects in electrics/automation for ironmaking, steelmaking and continuous casting
  • Preparation of technical offers highlighting customer benefits
  • Conducting contract negotiations
  • Cooperation with other MT departments and regional companies involved in sales process world-wide
  • Drive regional business
  • Development and support of customer relations
  • Monitoring of market, customers and competitors
  • Active feedback to electrics/automation and technology on customer demands

Which qualifications do I need?

  • Sales approach
  • Preferably higher technical institute or university degree (e.g. HTL, technical university with electrical / mechatronical background)
  • Experience in electrics and automation for metallurgical plants is advantageous
  • Experience in the acquisition and/or development / project management of projects is advantageous
  • Understanding of commerical issues
  • Knowledge of contractual issues (contract management)
  • English - fluent in written and spoken

On a personal level you convince us by high negotiation and organizational skills, a high solution-oriented attitude and a strong customer focus.

What else do I have to know?
The cross annual compensation in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for this function is at least EUR 29.400, for university graduates (DI, Msc) it is at least EUR 38.200. Education and experience can lead to overpay. In addition Siemens provides social and other benefits.
